Eureka Peak Hike, December 3, 2016

Bob Audibert

The first photo shows a good view of the snow covered San Gorgonio Peak from the Fault trail. The trails is within a gorge with deep decomposed granite, that is like walking in sand, but unlike sand it stays put in the wind.  The next two shows  us at the peak.  It looks like we were cold, but it was not cold just windy, very windy.   The next is a old dirt road with a view to the south east.

You all should have been there with us.  You have to be there to see and enjoy the magnificent majesty of our Southern California landscape.

A photo is of Joshua and San Gorgonio in the background.

The next three  photos show us on the Eureka Trail.
